Blurb Request Policy (please read carefully) (UPDATED January 2026):
Currently open to blurb requests by email only from someone representing the book (editor, publicist, etc). While these used to go directly to me, due to recent circumstances, they should now be sent to my literary agent Lane Heymont. Helpful items to include are:
- the title of the book
- the author’s name
- a description of the book
- the approximate word count
- the deadline or desired date for receiving a blurb
- the book itself (PDF format preferred, mobi and Word document acceptable; epub will not work)
Missing any of these will not disqualify you from blurb consideration, but it’s useful information to have.
Also:
- Due to the volume of blurb requests, no promise of a blurb can realistically be given (essentially, everything is a “maybe”)
- Queries as to the status of a blurb request will not receive a response.
