A new novelette emerges! Cemetery Gates Media has released A Conjuring for All Seasons, an anthology of five dark witch novelettes with an incredible table of contents. “Magic Loves the Hungry” opens the book with a story of rejection, predation, and horrors both extraordinary and very human.

I also had the honor of writing an article for Library Journal about my debut novel Queen of Teeth which released earlier this year. Hailey Piper on Combining Romance and Horror is free to read on the Library Journal website!

A few bits of news!

I have a new story out today! Sci-Fi & Scary has put together a 30-story anthology of body horror, Twisted Anatomy, for which all proceeds will go to charity. The editors did me the honor of letting my story close out the anthology with a self-help article on handling your bodily monsters in “Succubus Tips for Succu-Bliss.”

Dead Headspace was good enough to host my new article on the importance of Women in Horror Month, “February’s Pesky Psychological Entrails: Why Women, Why Horror,” and you can find that up on their site.

Happy Friday the 13th, everyone! Let’s get some horror going.

First up, The Possession of Natalie Glasgow is now available in audiobook from Amazon! TPONG is my debut novella, and though I had hoped to release the audiobook in time with the two-year anniversary of TPONG’s original ebook release in October, 2020 had other plans. Still, it’s available now, and narrated by Bram Stoker-nominated author Gemma Amor, whose voice takes hold of TPONG so readily that I can’t look at the book’s text anymore without hearing her voice.

Earlier this week, I was honored to be placed on Silent Motorist Media’s list of Ten Weird Writers to Save Us in 2020. Authors were nominated by readers and chosen by editors and writers. I’m proud to be here, and especially proud that this list is so inclusive.

Lastly, my new queer cosmic horror novella, The Worm and His Kings, releases in just two days! Off Limits Press is now sold out of copies, but it can still be ordered in ebook and paperback from Amazon. It’s been a long time coming, but the Worm is nearly here!

I’ve had the pleasure of speaking to a few awesome people and those conversations or articles have emerged together this month.

First, I visited the Cursed Morsels Podcast to talk about The Possession of Natalie Glasgow.

Then, Michelle R. Lane invited me to her blog Girl Meets Monster for Fiction Fragments, where I talked about a project that’s still finding its feet, along with writing lady monsters and queer horror.

Mother Horror invited me to the Nightworms blog, appropriate to discuss my upcoming novella, The Worm and His Kings, due out in November from Off Limits Press, plus a few clues about what else I’m working on.

There will be a free flash fic story up by the end of the month, so stay tuned for that too!
